Planning A Barossa Getaway? Add This Winery To Your List

If you’re lining up an itinerary for your next Barossa Valley getaway or you’re showing out of town visitors the sites, you have to add Schild Estate to the list.

Located in Lyndoch, this large family-owned and operated winery produces all of their wine on-site from soil to bottle. Among the large variety of wines is the iconic, limited release Moorooroo Shiraz, which is made from one of the oldest commercial vineyards in Australia – it turns 170 in October this year (woohoo!).

They’ve also recently opened a new tasting room which overlooks the gorgeous Southern Barossa and Lyndoch Ranges.

‘We will be hosting a number of small events throughout the year and launching exciting new experiences in the coming months such as barrel tastings, vineyard tours and portfolio tastings,’ says marketer, Anton Hortkus.

‘Our new facility allows us to share our part of the Southern Barossa in an intimate setting, where guests can immerse themselves in the entire wine making process’.

Schild Estate’s history, combined with their strong family focus makes it the perfect location for any upcoming wine tours and tastings. Bookings are essential so give them a buzz on (08) 8524 5560 or email on
