Organic and biodynamic winemaking these days isn’t just reserved for bearded hipsters wearing gumboots in their earth-packed, mud walled huts. Paxton Wines are proof of this, and their sexy, modern take on winemaking has seen them firmly positioned as leaders in their field, and their wine, well it speaks for itself. They aren’t just about sitting cosy, and serving up tastings in their cellar door either. Their Spring Affair event draws the masses to their McLaren Vale winery for one hell of a party, and now, this Summer, they are bringing the party to you.
This Friday, Paxton Wines are kicking off the weekend (and Christmas holidays – amiright?) at Adelaide’s newest beach club – Cabana Club – in Port Noarlunga with the team from HORTAS. Cabana Club promises to bring the vibes of Portugal to the shores of Port Noarlunga.
Festivities kick of this Friday, December 21st.
But WHAT can we expect? Well the Paxton Wine Bar (container bar) is currently being set up as part of this weekend’s fun, which culminates on Saturday night with their opening night fiesta. From 6:3pm on Saturday, celebrate the opening of Adelaide’s newest beach bar with a sizzling night of Latino grooves and sultry performances by Danca Brazil’s samba dancers, set against the stunning backdrop of the Port Noarlunga sunset.
And if you’re busy this weekend, don’t despair. For 38 days and nights this Summer, Cabana Club will serve up delicious food, inspired by owner Filipe’s Portugese heritage, locally-sourced beer and wine, craft cocktails and laid-back entertainment, with uninterrupted views of the stunning Port Noarlunga coastline.
Drop in for a drink after work, book a fun night out with friends or join them for a meal at Ana’s Table or one of their intimate sunset wine dinners. The Paxton Wines dinner is being held on December 28th & 29th. More details here.
