Brigitte Baden-Rennie ran away the night before her wedding. Why? The reasons may be many and are explored through dialogue and song in this charming 50-minute musical monologue.

Baden-Rennie is backed by David McEvoy on keyboard as she presents a beautiful array of nine songs by Joni Mitchell, Nick Cave and Rupert Holmes: some funny, some passionate; all of them winners.

Between numbers she engages in comical banter with the audience and offers a casual chat on the themes of Love, Hate and Home. She’s, witty, heartfelt and thought provoking as she helps us deconstruct relationships and ultimately find what’s important.

Baden-Rennie entertains completely with nothing more than a whiteboard and a few good stories. The refurbished Whitmore Hotel is a beaut venue for small cabarets, and adds to the overall charisma of the show.
