A New Pink Gin Made From Rose Petals and Raspberries Is Here To Blow Your Mind

First it was Breakfast Gin, now pink gin…

Settlers Spirits are no stranger to pushing the boundaries when it comes to innovative gin infusions. You might recall the story we did on the motherload of all gin creations, Settlers Spirits’ Breakfast Gin.

Well, now the guys at Settlers are bringing us a flamingo pink gin – infused with rose petals and raspberries which are what give it the unmissable pink hue. It’s also made quite differently to the most regular gins. After chatting to Settlers’ mad-flavour-genius/gin-xpert, Rowland short, we learned that gin nowadays is commonly made using grains but when it was first invented they used grapes. So, Settlers have taken gin back to it’s origins, using grapes from their South Australian vineyard. The result? A much smoother tasting gin that’s crisp, fruity and goes damn well with a splash of tonic.

Settlers Spirits are officially launching their pink gin at the Cellar Door Fest next weekend from Friday 24th-Sunday 26th February, as part of a new section at the festival – The Distillery.

If you thought it couldn’t get much better than this, Rowland and his wife are donating proceeds from the pink gin to cancer research.

Their work here however, is never done, with a new “navy-strength” gin in the pipelines. It sounds equal parts bloody amazing and slightly terrifying.

You’ll be able to pick up your first bottle of Pink Gin at Cellar Door Fest next weekend or through booze retailers around the country from the week after.
