This week, Brian and Lynn Schirripa opened their newly refurbished Hahndorf Resort Convention Centre precisely as they mean to go on: with the support of family, friends and local businesses.
The new state of the art convention facilities were the perfect setting to open the newly refurbished function areas of the tourist park and comfortably fit the gathering for the event.
With beautiful views, excellent sound and tech amenities and a room which could act as a blank canvas for wedding decorations, or smart, simple décor for business conference, the Hahndorf Resort Convention Centre is versatile.
Off to the right of the entrance foyer is a boardroom with modern features and downstairs boasts an absolutely gorgeous area perfect for weddings, parties or any function needing gorgeous views, plenty of space and a real ‘hills’ feel.
Jason ‘Snowy’ Carter, a Hahndorf local was MC for Hahndorf Tourist Park’s event and the Convention Centre was officially opened by The Honourable Jamie Briggs MP, federal member for Mayo.
Owner Brian Schirripa was humbled by the support of family, friends and local businesses and spent time thanking each individual staff member and contributor to the refurbishment project in his speech.
It’s this type of friendly, welcoming attitude that represents the Adelaide Hills and is reflected in the ambience of the Hahndorf Resort Convention Centre.
As well as the brand new Convention Centre, the Resort itself has newly refurbished accommodation facilities, a caravan park, pool, barbeques, a playground, bars and Restaurant 5245.
The Convention Centre is open for business just in time for Christmas bookings. It is perfect for summer with its views and open design, and just as beautiful for winter with its warm, welcoming atmosphere and décor.
