If you’ve ever eaten at The Lion’s Restaurant, you might have admired some the incredible ceramic work by local artisan Guy Ringwood as you dine. His hand crafted design work is usually created private, but this Sunday afternoon The Lion have managed to tease him out of the studio for a very special Kick Start Sundays event.
Ringwood will be spinning the wheel (that’s a pottery term) alongside music from All About Her and Ash Gale while the crews from Mismatch Brewing Co and Adelaide Hills Distillery offer tastings of their wares. Watch him go elbow deep into clay and visualise his beautiful work adorning your mantle piece, well away from the reach of your children and the dog.
And no doubt another highlights of the afternoon will be watching people with a couple of drinks under their belt walk amongst these, valuable, breakable pieces. Don’t get us wrong, we would hate for something to happen but people don’t just go to car races for the sport, if you know what we mean.
