Meet Award-Winning Director of Photography for Animal Kingdom

200px-Animal_kingdom_posterThe SA Branch of the Australian Cinematographers Society will present a very special screening of ANIMAL KINGDOM on Monday July 26 at 6.30pm at Palace Nova Eastend.  The screening of this gritty stunning crime story will be followed by a Q&A discussion with the Director of Photography, Adam Arkapaw. 

Adam’s credits include feature film Animal Kingdom for director David Michôd (Winner- Grand Jury Prize for World Cinema, Sundance Film Festival 2010), the Cannes jury prize winning short film Jerrycan and I Love Sarah Jane , both of which screened at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Adam was nominated for an AFI Award for Best Cinematography and was the winner of Best Cinematography at the Jackson Hole Film Festival (USA) for his work on the film End of Town, and shot feature film Blind Company.

ANIMAL KINGDOM won the World Cinema Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in January this year.  Since opening in Australia on June 3,  ANIMAL KINGDOM has won accolades from critics and audiences alike and is set to become one of the most successful Australian films at the box office this year.
