Club Swizzle Is Back For A Massive December Run

0

Club Swizzle is returning to Adelaide this December and bringing it’s glitzy version of sass (and some very sculpted and acrobatic bartenders) back! And we’re giving you the chance to win tickets for you and three friends plus a bottle of Pol Roger Champagne to share.

From the creators of La Soirée and following its much talked about (especially in the Glam Adelaide offices) premiere Adelaide season in 2016, the mélange of outrageous cabaret, air-defying acrobatics and infectious musical revelry returns with a twist, opening on 12 December and closing with a brilliant bang on New Year’s Eve.

Loose, glorious and irresistibly fun, Club Swizzle’s return is a brand-new night of sassy entertainment where the mayhem gets kicked up a notch.

Hanging onto the reigns of chaos is Special Guest Host, cabaret wunderkind Reuben Kaye, who earlier this year was named the best cabaret show of the 2017 Adelaide Fringe. Described as “the evil love child of Liza Minelli and Jim Carrey” (British Theatre Guide), Kaye is a rising star of the international cabaret scene with a stunning voice and a wicked wit. Pinwheeling across the bar in a delicious cocktail of energy, high camp and big notes, Kaye is a virtual explosion of sequins, lashes and teeth.

Of course, we couldn’t mention Club Swizzle without mentioning the Club Swizzle Bar, where good times abound, thanks in no small part to The Swizzle Boys! Acrobatic and charismatic in equal measure, these sculpted rascals will pour your drink and steal your heart.

Providing the soundtrack for the night is a band with a repertoire as big as its bar tab. Mikey and The Nightcaps will slosh their way through the tunes till the last punter staggers out into the midnight sun.

With no stage, no rules and no regrets, there’s no place quite like it. So order yourself something stiff and get ready to dive head first into Club Swizzle – Adelaide’s most devilish and downright cheeky show yet!

Club Swizzle is running 12-31 December at the Adelaide Festival Centre. More details here or on the Club Swizzle Facebook.
