The new playground was built just before Christmas as a space to create and inspire wonder and imagination while allowing children to run wild, have fun and challenge themselves in exploring the natural world.
“Being aligned with the zoo is close to our hearts because having kids and grandkids myself, the zoo really is a special family and kids’ experience,” Robin Turner, Managing Director of Turner Real Estate says. “I have many great memories with my children and grandchildren spent looking at the animals and learning about conservation.”
The playground includes play equipment built on nature inspired principles including climbing structures, water play features, aerial walkways and a natural creek bed.
The nature-inspired equipment is suitable for all abilities and features a disability toilet, parent’s room and an undercover function area for all your family function needs such as birthdays or picnics.
“We are very excited about this new addition to the Adelaide Zoo and love that we can be a part of making some amazing family moments for the people of Adelaide!” Robin says. She went on to say that “the versatile set up is particularly great because we think everyone should be able to take part and enjoy the new playground.”
