Parents have long been at odds with their kids and understanding all their activities, what’s hot and what’s not with Pokemon GO being no exception to this rule. While we’ve all likely heard about this overwhelmingly popular game that kids and adults are playing around the world, but some parents are fearing for their children’s safety when they’re engaged in this activity.

Among the many concerns, some parents may worry their kids will travel too far from home in search of the many Pokemon GO “pocket monsters” they’re hoping to collect. A recent report has uncovered players may need to travel to different parts of the world in order to collect all the treasures and playmates they’re seeking.

Locations and Speculations

According to franchise information from Serebii, the everything Pokemon website where “legends come to life,” news reports are claiming some of these playful characters are only available on certain continents. If these gaming speculations are true, according to their insights:

  • Australia is where you’ll find Kangaskhan
  • Mime is exclusive to Europe
  • Tauros can only be found in North America, and
  • Farfetch’d is available only in Asia

In addition to parental fears about injuries their kids could suffer if not paying attention to their surroundings while playing, children may be disappointed to learn about these exclusive locations in their hunt. One player shared their dismay when they posted, “Okay, this is actually wild, I guess I gotta travel the world.”
