Venue registrations open for Adelaide Fringe 2015

Adelaide FringeVenues that open their doors to performing arts events and art exhibitions for the Adelaide Fringe are as diverse as the shows they host and include traditional theatres, pubs, churches, vacant buildings, offices, private homes and even buses.

Adelaide Fringe Director and Chief Executive Greg Clarke encouraged businesses and individuals from metropolitan and regional South Australia to register as a Fringe venue.

“Adelaide Fringe venues are run by talented individuals and organisations with a love for creating exciting spaces for artists and audiences,” Mr Clarke said. “We saw an incredible uptake of the Fringe in suburban and regional areas in 2014 and we would love to see that continue because the Fringe is open-access and everyone should be able to experience the festivities across the State.”

Venues are run independently with support from Adelaide Fringe staff. To become a 2015 Adelaide Fringe venue you will need to register your details at adelaidefringe.com.au. Registration is free and once you have registered your details will be added to a venues list for artists to view from 1 August, 2014.

Venue registrations close on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.

Artist registrations for Adelaide Fringe 2015 open on Friday, 1 August, 2014.
