2014 has started extremely well for Vance Joy, coming in at #1 on triple Jʼs Hottest 100 countdown, making it into the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart, performing at his first Laneway shows and recently announced on the line-up for this yearʼs Groovin The Moo.
Vance Joy is now excited to announce a series of capital city shows during April and May, stopping at The Gov on Thursday, April 24.
In additional good news, Vance Joyʼs hit single ʻRiptideʼ has now been certified 4x platinum by ARIA! Since it was released last year, love for ʻRiptideʼ has steadily grown.
In addition to a host of incredible local achievements for the Top 10 single, including Highest Selling Australian Single for 2013 and #2 Most Played Australian Song at radio, international audiences have now jumped aboard the ʻRiptideʼ train as well, with an impressive UK Chart and increasing radio airplay in the States.
Having just finished up on the Laneway circuit, Vance Joy is now heading back to the UK and Europe, for sold out headline shows, before embarking on an extensive US jaunt in support of Young The Giant. Along with this, he will also appear at SXSW. His debut album is due for release in the second half the year.
Tickets for the Vance Joyʼs Australian tour are on-sale Friday February 14.
