More than 85 per cent of exhibitor space has already been booked with a significant number of Australian and overseas companies participating for the first time.

To be hosted by Wine Industry Suppliers Australia Inc. (WISA), WineTech 2015 will be a dedicated trade exhibition targeting people in the industry with a direct operational focus.

WISA Executive Officer, Matthew Moate, said: “WineTech 2015 is making a welcome return to Adelaide and we are thrilled with the response to date from exhibiting organisations and delegates.

“It will be a spectacular showcase of latest innovations and developments, along with proven products and services that support operators at all levels of the Australian and international wine industry.

“There will also be an associated seminar program and a range of supplier presentations to add value to the trade show.”

WineTech will feature a strong continent of exhibitors from overseas including:

ADEPTA, WISA’s industry equivalent in France that specialises in international development of equipment, engineering and design components in the agriculture and food industry, especially in the wine sector;

Shur Farms Frost Protection in California;

ECO TRELLIS, Directus, KLIMA, TracMap NZ and FMR Group from New Zealand;

Hangzhou Cobetter Filtration Equipment Company, China;

Randox Food Diagnostics, United Kingdom; and

Renaissance Yeast, Canada.

Patricia Villavicencio of ADEPTA said France had developed some cutting edge technologies in terms of nurseries and grafting material, fertilisers, pumps, wine making equipment, oenological products, oak barrels, bottling, labelling, packaging equipment and sensory analysis.

Amber Andrade of Shur Farms Frost Protection said the company’s products were compatible with other frost protection systems and could reduce energy costs and water usage.

“Growers receive a no-cost and no-obligation frost analysis detailing and identifying air flow patterns, frost pockets and passive methods that can be used to lessen the impact of frost events and optimise growing capability,” she added.

WineTech 2015 is actively supported by the Australian Grape and Wine Authority, the Winemakers’ Federation of Australia, Wine Grape Growers Australia and Wine Communicators of Australia.
