UBERfest Winter 2014 Kicks Off This Week In Adelaide

Known for its huge, diverse line-up, showcasing independent musicians to the masses, UBERfest has proven to be a successful launch pad for emerging talent across the country. Having experienced an overflowing line-up in its summer festival, back in February, UBERfest has expanded its location on the eastern seaboard, to come across to Adelaide for a stellar debut next weekend (Sat 26 July) at the Light Hotel!

If it’s fresh live music you’re after, then you’re in for a treat!

Known for its huge, diverse line-up, showcasing independent musicians to the masses, UBERfest has proven to be a successful launch pad for emerging talent across the country. Having experienced an overflowing line-up in its summer festival, back in February, UBERfest has expanded its location on the eastern seaboard, to come across to Adelaide for a stellar debut next weekend (Sat 26 July) at the Light Hotel!

Boasting an impressive array of bands and artists of all genres, this independent music festival attracts the expectation of one hell of a party! The bill includes everything from hip hop to metal, pop, indie, rock and DJs. Starting at 2pm, and going ‘till midnight, it will provide 10 hours of bliss for music lovers of all styles!

Musicians from across the country are coming together to perform at UBERfest Winter 2014, ready to engage the public in their live act, and proudly showcase their original material. The massive involvement of over 100 bands and thousands of fans across the entire tour, guarantees an exciting time for those interested in supporting the best up-and-coming talent in Australia.

After originally hosting many interstate bands at Sydney shows, UBERfest organisers decided to bring the festival home to many more people, by taking it interstate to Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane as well. With four shows across the nation this winter, set up in a tour format where bands can hop on one or all of the locations, this hugely successful festival is evolving into a must-see fixture on the music industry calendar.

UBERfest Winter 2014 will be at four fantastic city venues on the following dates:

Sat 26 July @ The Light Hotel, Adelaide 

Sun 10 August @ The Elephant & Wheelbarrow (St. Kilda), Melbourne

Sat 16 August @ The Lewisham Hotel, Sydney

Sat 30 August @ The Jubilee Hotel, Brisbane

These venues have been chosen ensure an intimate setting, typical of UBERfest. They aim to “bring the music to the fans – up close and personal”. This festival gives the crowd the best new sounds and an awesome live experience in their face!

Some of the better known bands performing live are: Canephora, Craig Atkins, Dead Villain Society, Drowned By The Traitor, Emecia, Grace Goodfellow, Lazy Daze, Lily & The Drum, Madeleine Hunt, Nourse & Jozef, Ouroboric, Rico Garilli, Sonic Divide, Steve Foster, Super Monkey Zero , The High Collide, The Reason, The Unknown Artists and Zero Days. And as for emerging bands yet to be discovered, there are many more!
