Tropfest 2011

One of the worlds largest short film festivals is set to hit our city shores this weekend.  Tropfest will be held at the Glenelg foreshore on Sunday February 20, 3pm to 10pm.

It’s free to attend the festival, enjoy the live music, entertainment, and see first hand the work of emerging Australian filmmakers, including several South Australian local films.

Festival goers are encouraged to bring a picnic and rug to enjoy the live telecasts on the big screen keeping in mind the Glenelg Foreshore is a dry zone.

For the first time Tropfest is letting the audience vote for their favourite film with the most popular entrant becoming a finalist.
