In an event first, in 2015, the Santos Tour Down Under wants ladies and their friends to join them on tour. Grab some friends for a day out with a difference, everything is organised, all you have to do is be ready for a day on the race involving bubbles, canapés, cocktails, fashion and fun.
Ladies Day on Tour hosted by Liza Emanuele (leading Adelaide fashion designer) gives you a behind the scenes look at what makes the event successful, a sneak peak at the exclusive fashions designed for the race at Liza’s King William Road boutique, time to shop and all this before lunch!
Travel to Stirling for a sumptuous lunch of the best produce South Australia has to offer at the The Locavore (Local-eater) starting with finger food before main course is served and not to forget dessert, all with trackside viewing in case you want to catch a glimpse of the cyclists in between conversations. Finish the day with cocktails at The Collins Bar.
Sally Heading, Event Manager, Santos Tour Down Under said that the event was really excited to be working in partnership with Liza Emanuele to present the Ladies Day on Tour for the first time this year.
“The race is entering its 17th edition and we thought it was time to show a new side of the event that encapsulated all the race excitement with bubbles, canapés, cocktails, fashion and fun.
“We are expecting tickets to sell out fast as we are taking care of everything, all you need to do is dress to impress and be ready to go from the Hilton Adelaide,” said Sally Heading.
“The combination of fashion, fabulous food, a great host in Liza and access to the race, all makes for a brilliant day out.”
