After slaying her debut appearances at Brighton’s legendary The Great Escape festival and the Vice House Party, the 19 year old sweet angel is currently stomping her feet across stages around the United Kingdom with band of the moment Years & Years.
On home soil, Tkay’s popularity has seen her latest hit single “M.O.B.” top the alternative radio airplay charts and is now making an imprint on commercial radio following her sold-out M.O.B. National Tour, supports with Charli XCX and Groovin’ the Moo performances.
Her national presence on the GTM tour attracted rave reviews beginning in Oakbank and culminating in Snapchat heaven – a sass AF live rendition of “Fancy” with her tour buddy Charli XCX. There wasn’t a dry selfie-stick in the paddock.

Following her UK tour, Maidza returns home to gear up for a not-to-be-missed sophomore appearance at Splendour in the Grass, Jindabyne’s Snowtunes and supports the likes of Kevin Parker (Tame Impala), Daniel Merriweather, Andrew Wyatt (Miike Snow), MNDR, Alex Greenwald (Phanton Planet), Theophilus London and Keyone Starr on the road with producer/DJ extraordinaire Mark Ronson.
As well as catching Mr. Ronson’s attention, Tkay has also won a fan in hip-hop icon Killer Mike (Run The Jewels). After watching Tkay’s set at The Falls Festival old mate Mike has gushed on more than one occasion about Tkay’s mad skills. The latest praise was delivered in a lecture he gave at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
