When we say ‘markets’ what comes to mind? Boring. Cheap. Daggy. Lame. Full of hippies. Well forget all that because we have found three Adelaide markets who are turning all of that on its head…
It’s back this month and we can’t wait! This market is so much more than a market. It is an event. Definitely one to put in the calendar, it brings together over 70 handpicked SA vendors. From homewares, clothing, jewellery, art… You name it, they have it. Set in the urban Queen’s Theatre in the CBD, it is transformed into something spectacular. Because pretty is important while you shop.
There will also be gift wrapping for Mother’s Day, live music, delicious food and drinks, plus workshops to get those creative juices flowing. Like we said, put this one in the diary!

A boutique bar, gloriously delicious food options, funky tunes, workshops and demos, presentations and activities… And that is even mentioning the 150+ handpicked stalls filled with the best of the best from Australian independent designers. Yep, Bowerbird know how to do it right!
Set in a bigger venue at the Adelaide Showground, it will be the perfect place to spend your Mother’s Day weekend!

Flinders Street Market – Winter Street Food Festival
The only negative about this Flinders Street Market special event is that you have to wait until June to enjoy it. Collective “ohhhs”. But in the meantime lets just get excited for what is coming…
To welcome the first week of Winter it only seems right to gather together and enjoy all of the food.
Normally an artisan lover’s heaven, the Flinders Street Market hub will be transformed into a street food fiesta as you get your hands on some delish grub served up from portable food booths, food carts or food trucks.
Think cheap, think exotic but most of all think tasty! Oh and there will also be an amazing selection of local artists/craft stalls, a bar, live music and a whole lotta fun. Ahhh yes please!
