The Vinobomb Redefines The Random Act Of Kindness

Vinomofo is celebrating contributions to community by rewarding hardworking individuals with a Vinobomb – a box packed full of goodies. Hello good karma!

The team at Vinomofo are rewarding individuals, groups or businesses doing awesome things in their community with ‘The Vinobomb’. Are you intrigued?

Every month, Australians can nominate unsung heroes doing things that better the world in some way. Then on the last Friday of every month, Vinomofo will ‘drop’ Vinobombs to a handful of worthy candidates.

A Vinobomb surprises unsuspecting legends with random acts (or boxes) of kindness. It’s Vinomofo’s way of paying respect, and celebrating the work of those who are doing great things in their community; it’s just all around goodness!

A few previous recipients of a Vinobomb have been the Melbourne Period Project, a company that organises donations of sanitary products for homeless women in Melbourne, and Helping Hoops, an organisation which brings basketball and positive role models to children who could really benefit, such as children in public housing, or children with disabilities; these support programs run at zero cost to these children and their families. Wow, talk about worthy causes who have earned a random act of kindness!

The Vinobomb is a party in a box containing half a dozen of Vinomofo’s finest wines – perfect for weekend celebrations or as a new addition to the cellar. The Vinobomb features a delicious collaboration of Vinomofo’s own wines, including: the Duck Sauce Yarra Valley Pinot Noir, the Old Money Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, the Bisou Bisou Yarra Valley Blanc de BlancsThe Orgy Grenache, the Fanny Limehead Riesling, and the Art of War Barossa Valley Shiraz.

Vinomofo also works with select partners each month to include some extra goodies in the box like vouchers, free subscriptions and other treats. These non-alcoholic goodies are contributed by companies such as: Endota Spa, Mischief Brew Coffee, Bellabox (fresh and new beauty samples), and Citizen Cacao (handcrafted raw and vegan chocolate bars and truffles) – who wouldn’t love to get their hands on a box full of goodies like this!

While Vinomofo’s project started off in Melbourne, they can also spread their joy in Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, and Tasmania for a worthy candidate in need of a Vinobomb. What a fabulous way to reward someone’s hard work, and to encourage positive karma in our communities.

Adelaideans can nominate people or organisations from their own city as well as those from across Australia by emailing Vinomofo Community Engagement Manager, Rosa Nguyen at [email protected] with their nomination and why. Alternatively, nominations can also be placed via Vinomofo’s social channels, like their Facebook, Twitter (@vinomofo), or Instagram (@mofogram).
