It’s no secret that I love Instagram and that I love food styling, I mean you just need to have a quick whip through my Insta feed and that is more than glaringly obvious! Along with these two loves, I also get a thrill finding new, gorgeous products made right here in South Australia because, yay for local!
Ashlea Cooney is the clever creator of Copper&Co and it is exactly this find which makes my heart beat a little faster. Ashlea creates handmade, unique wooden pieces for the home and coming into Spring, they couldn’t be any more perfect!
Neutral tones just happen to be my favourite.
I recently got the chance to style some of the absolutely fabulous products and as you can imagine, I was one happy stylist for a few hours. Styling the Copper&Co pieces is pure joy.
When Spring hits properly (hurry up warmer weather) I love to bring some colour into my home. Although I am generally a neutrals lover, I do love to add a pop of fun and bright colours. The Copper&Co range allows me to have the best of both worlds, as it blends the two seamlessly together. You can also create a calm and ordered look by keeping the pieces matching, or create a more crazy and look and mix and match, but whatever you choose it can all be done easily and stylishly thanks to the way the range is put together.

Entertaining friends and family in my home – it just so happens to be another one of my favourite things! Warmer weather, a cheeseboard or two and a glass of wine (or three) can all be made that much better when you out your food styling hat on! Style up a fabulous antipasto platter, cheese platter or just a simple spread of crusty bread on one of the handmade mega planks. Coloured placemats in various geometric designs will add a ‘wow’ factor to your table and impress your guests, and even your drinks can sit upon a stylish coasters. Ashlea really has thought of everything and because Copper&Co is just effortlessly good looking, that makes our job so much easier.
You can also use the Copper&Co pieces to bring colour into your home. Don’t just hide your Copper&Co pieces away in a cupboard somewhere. They are much to stylish and pretty for that. Keep them out like I do, and style them into your home. Keep them out on your kitchen bench and add a pop of colour to an otherwise neutral space. The coasters are a great way to bring colour to a table so why not stack them and leave them for everyone to admire.

Ashlea obviously loves creating fun, geometric patterns to create a bit of fun around the table. I absolutely love them, they are stylish, durable and very easy to clean. I don’t want to get to ahead of myself (but I like to be prepared), with Christmas on its way, these would make the perfect present but also the perfect impression when you have everyone over for those Christmas festivities!
