The MS Mud Run- Getting Dirty Never Felt So Good

The Bernie Lewis MS Mud Run is on this Sunday 1st December at Urrbrae Agricultural High School and it is shaping up to be a muddy good day for the whole family!

Close to 4,000 mud runners ranging from 8 years old and up will be navigating a unique mud-filled, military style obstacle course, with categories ranging from an elite race, a family race, an adult race and a ‘mini mudders’ children’s race.

The action kicks off at 8am and spectators are invited along for a gold coin donation. There will be plenty of food and entertainment on the day with a Coopers beer garden, jumping castles, mud pits and markets and stalls for the whole family to enjoy.

The ‘Chief Mudders’ event will kick off at 12.30pm. This race will see Adelaide’s top dogs including former premier, Lynn Arnold, Mayor of Unley, Lachlan Clyne, Chairman of Bernie Lewis, Mark Lewis and CEO, Graeme Warnock getting dirty for a good cause.

There will be 3 competitions held during the day, with prizes from Gerard McCabe Jewellers and Bernie Lewis Home Loans up for grabs.

Registrations for the race close this Friday November 29th at 12 noon. There will be no race day registrations.

Mud runners are encouraged to fundraise for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) in South Australia and Northern Territory. The MS Society of SA & NT supports approximately 2,000 people with MS living in South Australia and Northern Territory who rely on the Society for essential services. “The community involvement in this event it terrific. It’s great to see so many people, from participants, event sponsors, volunteers to MS Society staff helping us make a difference in the lives of those people affected by MS, ” he said.
