Who said pop-up bars in Adelaide only happen around Fringe time? We just got word the gorgeous, heritage entrance hall at Adelaide Casino will be transformed into a winter pop-up bar next week.
The Lodge Bar will be decked out with big, plush furniture and – get this – moose antler chandeliers to match. The smell of hot cinnamon doughnuts will fill the air as you settle in for a cosy night of winter warming cocktails and music.
While the drinks menu be small, she be mighty. We’re talking things like, salted caramel hot chocolate spiked with Makers Mark, hot buttered rum and the new Rekorderlig spiced hot apple cider.
If it’s nibbles you’re after, The Lodge will have fresh Italian doughnuts on hand thanks to Mangia Mangia as well as cheese platters.
If this sounds like your kind of gig, The Lodge Bar will be open from 5pm-1am every Friday and Saturday night between 7 July – 19 August. Located at the Adelaide Casino, you’ll need to enter via Station Road.
