The Inaugural Wine Fiesta Has Your Friday Night Wine Time Covered

Stress not, we have found the perfect Friday night ‘wine down’ – Introducing Wine Fiesta in Topham Mall… The first event of its kind in the city…

A wine fiesta is coming! Situated in Topham Mall, the Wine Fiesta is a collaboration event that will showcase the amazing products that local businesses have to offer including the stunning wines from Langhorne Creek and Kangaroo Island.

You won’t want to be anywhere else on Friday 16 October from 4.30pm until 7.30pm as Topham Mall’s Wine Fiesta event offers a cracking spot for those after work drinks (and we all need them by Friday afternoon).

Topham Mall will be transformed into a ‘Pop Up Cellar Door’ as wines from up to 20 wineries including Bremerton, Bay of Shoals Wines, Lake Breeze, Gipsie Jack, Bleasdale, Angas Plains Wines, The Islander Estate Vineyards, Brothers In Arms, False Cape Wines, Cleggett Wines, Dudley Wines, Heartland Wines, ShowBlock, Kimbolton Wines, Rusticana Wines, Temple Bruer and Windsong Wines will all be available to taste by the glass (buy a commemorative glass for $5)

In addition, wines from nearby Currency Creek will also be available for sampling.

Along with the wines, Adelaide’s only CBD microbrewery, Lady Burra Brewhouse, which just so happens to be conveniently located in the mall, will launch their first pop-up tart cart at the inaugural Wine Fiesta.

Co-Owner of Lady Burra Brewhouse, Alastair Boucaut, says, “The Wine Fiesta event is the first of its kind, so we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to officially launch ‘Rosa’s Tart Cart’ to the public.”

Rosa Dantas is the Head Chef at Lady Burra Brewhouse. Famous for her authentic Portuguese cuisine, her tart cart will be selling beer, delicious tarts, and her infamous paella at Wine Fiesta, kicking-off at 4:30pm.

And for all you food lovers, from Tuesday, 20th October, ‘Rosa’s Tart Cart’ will be situated directly in front of Lady Burra Brewhouse weekdays, from 7am.

“Given the level of foot traffic in Topham Mall, ‘Rosa’s Tart Cart’ will be the easiest and quickest way to grab your morning coffee and tart without the hassle,” says Alastair Boucaut.

On top of the great food from Rosa’s Tart Cart, there will also be a selection of Kangaroo Island produce from Island Pure available.

When food and wine combine, you know it is going to be a good, ok who are we kidding, you know it is going to be a GREAT time! So we highly suggest that you don’t miss this one!

And keep your eye out for more amazing wine events in the CBD when the Coonawarra and McLaren Vale regions showcase everything that they have got in future events.
