The Garden of Unearthly Delights, one of Australia’s most unique and engaging outdoor performing arts precinct, opens its gates to the public at 9pm on Thu 12 Feb .

Heading up the FREE entertainment to delight the first Garden-goers of the season, lycra-loving baritone Le Gateau Chocolat will perform followed by a dazzling line-up of artists including: Plague of Idiots, The Magnets, Lords of Strut, Pants Down Circus, Sex Idiot, Shaolin Afronauts, DJ Andrew McClelland.

Over 32 days and nights in Adelaide’s Rundle Park, The Garden hosts 1170 ticketed performances of over 110 shows PLUS 30 free events.

The Garden team travel the world year-round to find the very best award-winning shows and the most inventive and exciting new works to present to their audience. 2015’s program features 32 Australian premieres, including 24 world premieres.

More than 700,000 people visit The Garden each season and its popularity continues to grow every year.

Some of the many highlights of our 2015 program include:

The Australian premiere of the hottest new show on the global festival circuit, Velvet, featuring legendary diva Marcia Hines in the best disco party of your life.

The co-creators of Cantina together with the incredible Ben Walsh (Tom Tom Crew) and the Crusty Suitcase Band unite for a whisky-infused evening of raucous beats and dexterous feats in Scotch & Soda.

Two incredible multi-talented musicians with only four hands and four feet perform the virtuosic 1973 masterpiece by Mike Oldfield, Tubular Bells in the global festival hit show of the same name.

The record-breaking, award-winning Spiegeltent sensations, LIMBO  and La Soirée  return for strictly limited seasons.

The sad clown with the golden voice, Puddles, makes his Australian debut with his astounding, genre spanning repertoire of hits in Puddles Pity Party.

New York’s acclaimed improvisational theatre group, The Neo-Futurists , bring the Australian premiere of Too Much Light Makes Baby Go Blind , which The New York Times dubbed ‘…like an entire Fringe Festival condensed into one show.’

Comedy superstars Wil Anderson, Heath Franklin, Celia Pacquola, Dave Hughes, Abandoman, Adrienne Truscott , Sam Simmons  and the much loved Axis of Awesome  all perform new shows in The Garden in 2015.

The Garden of Unearthly Delights are also thrilled to present their best music lineup ever including Dan Sultan, J. Mascis, Archie Roach, Katie Noonan, Kate Ceberano, Tex Perkins, Toni Childs, The Basics, Wayne ‘The Train’ Hancock  and the musical debut by Australian acting great Guy Pearce.

The first ever Adelaide performance of reclusive and much-hyped folk prodigy Archer.

Once again The Garden’s cabaret game is strong with new shows from favourites Le Gateau Chocolat and East End Cabaret plus Michael Griffiths  in the new show Adolescent and Gemma Deacon in #HearMeRoar .

As is their way, The Garden are also pleased to bring a host of exciting new artists to The Garden including Demi Lardner (2013 winner of Raw Comedy in Australia and co-winner of So You Think You’re Funny in the UK), Lisa Omielan with her show What Would Beyoncé Do, Trygve Wakenshaw with the award-winning KRAKEN and Bryony Kimmings ’ acclaimed Sex Idiot. These incredible young artists are set to make an impact so get in before everyone else discovers them!

Plus The Garden has a packed family-friendly program including Dr Brown Brown Brown Brown Brown and his Singing Tiger , Pants Down Circus , Trash Test Dummies, Frank’s Survival Guide, Peter Combe and heaps more.

The Garden is the place for fun-filled family days and nights bursting with stars.
