There are four stages for entertainment – Carnevale, Youth, Kids and Fashion stages – and lots of activities and fun for everyone. As well as traditional cuisine from the Italian regions, there are San Remo Cooking Masterclasses with Adam Swanson, Michael Keelan and Laura Cassai. And one can learn how to be a brilliant barista with Brasilia Coffee Masterclasses as well!

Forums are increasing in popularity and one can learn more about baking bread Italian style, growing your own fresh veggies and what makes Italian cheese so special.

And we should not forget the 750th anniversary of the ‘father of the Italian language ‘ Dante Alighieri – a forum is devoted to him as well as a special exhibition, mounted by students, entitled Buon Compleanno Dante!

The Kids Corner is entertaining with wonderful craft activities such as mask making, colouring in and face painting to keep the young ones occupied. Twelve Soccer tables – Foosball – are also available! A new feature in 2015 is San Remo Kids in the Kitchen.

In the Artisans Corner we have violin makers, lace makers and painters demonstrating how things are done. And if there is a desire to shop there are around 30 commercial booths selling all sorts of wondrous things.

A new initiative is Carnevale Technology Planet consisting of several high-tech companies representing the connections and relationship between SA and Italy. People will be able to see hybrid solar panels, pre-fabricated modular housing, quality and projects management, landscape and irrigation products, level sensors, business management intelligence system, marine lights and wastewater treatment facilities.
