One of Adelaide’s premier drinkeries, The Collins Bar, is getting ready to showcase Adelaide’s finest designers with its annual limited edition Fashion Cocktail Collection.
The designers behind ACLER, Cinquante The Label, C/MEO Collective, Keepsake, Paolo Sebastian and So It Goes have explored their favourite cocktail flavours to create an exclusive menu that will be available for the month of October.
The Collins Bar team worked from each designers key tasting notes to construct a signature designer cocktail to represent the label.

The Collins Bar Manager Ammon Rogers said every cocktail in the latest Fashion Collection is completely unique.
“Vodka and gin were popular spirits with the designers – we then looked at the perfect pairings and garnishes to create a well-balanced drink,” Ammon said.
“The Fashion Collection is both masculine and feminine – some designers turned to strong, bold liquors or spirits and went heavy on spices and bitterness, while others went for more floral refreshing tastes.”
C/MEO Collective gave the following brief to create their signature cocktail – white rum or gin, lime and cucumber, mint, sugar (no spices) and always refreshing and zesty. From what could be transformed into a traditional mojito, the Collins Bar team has had the challenge of creating a cocktail that will represent the design and influences of the brand. The limited edition cocktail collection marks the commencement of Adelaide’s highly anticipated key fashion events in South Australia with Adelaide Fashion Festival and A Night of Fashion taking place across the month.
The Fashion Collection will be available at The Collins Bar, 233 Victoria Sq, from Wednesday 28 September until Saturday 29 October, 2016.
