CitySliderIf you love unique events, water, fun and our gorgeous city, the City Slider, a 325 metre long waterside, is something you NEED to check out when it transforms Adelaide’s King William Street on Sunday 12 April.

The City Slider is 6 metres wide with two lanes and a layer of 35mm foam underneath for a soft landing. There is also a free mini-slide for smaller kids to enjoy throughout the day.

“Everyone loves a water slide! They are synonymous with summer in Australia so we’re really excited to extend the summer fun by taking over King William Street for a great day out,” says Stuart Harris, co-founder of The City Slider.

“Also, our final session – which runs from 8pm to 10pm – is under lights so don’t forget your disco speedos and sequined togs,“ says Harris.

Although the slide is the main attraction, The City Slider is an alcohol-free, family-friendly carnival day full of food, music and fun. Rides on the slide are ticketed but plenty of activities, including water fights and water-themed games (coordinated in partnership with youth cancer charity CanTeen) are free and open to the public to enjoy throughout the day.
