A day at the races should mean dressing up, drinking up, and enjoying the electric atmosphere. That’s exactly what the creatives who brought you last year’s sell out Catalina Wine Mixer Trilogy, promise in their latest concept – The Catalina Classic.
Be welcomed to the super chic garden-inspired setting with a free cocktail, and let the sweet Summer beats of Adelaide’s hottest musos get the party vibes going. Debuting at this year’s UBET Adelaide Cup, Monday, 14th March at Morphettville Racecourse, The Catalina Classic draws inspiration from last year’s successful Lucky’s Pop-up Beach Club at The Maid.
The brains behind these visions are good friends Marcus Capaldo and Daniel Koronis. With the recent launch of M One Eight, Capaldo brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked on major events such as Clipsal 500.
“Having being involved with Clipsal 500 for the past eight years, I have witnessed people’s visions come to life and finally decided it was time to create my own,” says Capaldo.
Koronis has worked throughout Adelaide’s music scene for the past 20 years and runs the successful boutique entertainment company Entertainment Adelaide, servicing both private and corporate sectors.
“We wanted to bring together some of Adelaide’s finest musicians to take our guests on a journey with fresh summer sessions. With the overwhelming response we received from Catalina Wine Mixer, we knew we couldn’t wait an entire Winter to host another.”
Introducing a new era to race day events, the Catalina Classic knows its clientele, even providing a pamper station and touch-up bar! There will be tropical beverages, great food, top fashions and chilled beats.
The event experience will include a prime ground level indoor and outdoor viewing area, betting facilities, pamper station, premium food and beverages, VIP booths and entertainment.
