Christmas can mean different things to different people which is why when you find an event that caters to everyone around that time, you just gotta get the gang on board and run with it. And we think we’ve found it for you this year. Light Square will be turning it on for the festive season this year with an incredible Christmas party in the park on Sunday 17 December with something for everyone.
The Greaton 2017 Free Family Christmas in the Park is lining up a day full of family entertainment including a ferris wheel and jumping castle, music, a variety of local food stalls, pop-up wine bars and gift markets. There will even be a Salvation Army Tree of Hope to leave gifts and non-perishable foods for those in need this Christmas. Does it get much better?
If you went last year, you would have seen what a great event it was but with its success has come opportunity and they’ve now opened up registrations for vendors. So if you’ve got a business or know a friend who would nail it at Christmas in the Park, hit Greaton up ASAP. You’ll want to get in quick though, places for stallholders places are limited.
They’re on the hunt for vendors selling anything from homewares to jewellery and clothing, crafts; plants; candles; beauty products; and pet accessories. Generally anything that you can sell on the day that help people tick some things off their Christmas lists.
If you’re keen to get involved as a stall-holder, you’ll need to supply a marquee, stock for sale, a trestle table and cover, any signage/promo material and a cash float (for obvious reasons). There’s a small fee to set up on the day but it will go to the event organiser’s charity of choice. Just to give you an idea, if you’re looking at bringing a coffee cart it’s $110; food stall $200; wine stall $200; gift/market stall $110 orrrr if you want to host a pop-up wine bar including exclusive branding and larger area it’ll cost $500.
