Singletons Get Ready Reclaim Valentines Day At Electra House

Electra House Hotel and Level one restaurant are hosting three huge celebrations to help Adelaide celebrate (or not celebrate) Valentine’s Day, and it’s going to be epic.

There’s no time of the year that better emphasises your relationship status (or lack of) than February. All the loved-up people post their most gorgeous pictures together on Valentines Day, accompanied by dramatic captions. And for those embracing the single life, the day is an unwanted reminder of your lack of romantic love, giving you no option but to watch rom-coms in your pjs with your gal pals, making fun of your exes.

But there is no need to stay at home any longer. Electra House Hotel and Level one restaurant are hosting three huge celebrations to help Adelaide celebrate (or not celebrate) Valentine’s Day, and it’s going to be epic.

Firstly, for the people who think cupid is stupid: If you’re a Parks & Rec fan, you may know of the unofficial holiday ‘Galentine’s Day,’coined by Amy Poehler’s character Leslie Knope. Held the day before Valentine’s Day, Electra House Hotel will be full to the brim with ladies celebrating all of the gorgeous friendships in their lives. With door prizes available on the evening and drink specials all night, this is the perfect opportunity to toast your single life!

On Valentines Day itself, there will also be an Anti-Valentines Day event. For the second year running, Electra House Hotel will host their ‘Cupid is Stupid’ evening, which will include ‘dark and brooding’ drink specials and door prizes for people with the best (or worst!) ‘ex’ story. If you’re single and not ready to mingle, get a group of your besties together and come drown your sorrows as you dance the night away.

And for the people who do celebrate the romantic holiday, don’t worry, there is something for you as well. The Valentine’s Day dinner, hosted at Electra House Hotel’s Level One Restaurant, will include a shared Chef’s menu with a glass of Bird in Hand sparkling pinot on arrival. At $79 per person, the shared menu offering has been designed as an intimate dinner between two people and features some of our favourite Level One dishes.

So, whether you’re a lover, a hater, or somewhere in between, don’t miss out on these three fabulous events filled with great food and wine. Bookings to both nights are available now, so be sure to contact Electra House for more details.
