Families are encouraged to visit the Prospect Farmers’ Market these school holidays for a special family-fun themed market on Thursday, 23 April.
Activities will include a free bouncy castle, giant games, a ‘know your fruit and vegetables quiz’ and kids’ gardening activities.
Market goers can purchase a wide selection of South Australian food products from around 20 local farmers and small businesses, including fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs, nuts and honey as well as pies, pasta, bread and wine.
The Prospect Farmers’ Market is open every Thursday from 3pm until 7pm at the Vine Court Plaza adjacent to the Prospect Town Hall on Prospect Road. From the beginning of May the market will close half hour earlier at 6.30pm for the winter season until early October when daylight saving begins.
