There were two massive food and wine award shows this week – Gourmet Traveller Wine List of the Year Awards and Savour Australia’s Restaurant & Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence – and some of our favourite South Australian food and wine businesses won big!
The Gourmet Traveller Wine List of the Year Awards cover the best restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs in which to explore the most exciting wines, spirits and beers from home and abroad. Their panel of expert judges have cast their eyes over the nation’s top lists and South Australia has garnered two great accolades. Not only did Patrick White from Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant win the Best Listing of SA Wines award, but Lindes Lane down at Rundle Mall got awarded 3 Glasses by the panel.

Savour Australia’s Restaurant & Catering Awards had their SA awards last night, and some of our favourite restaurants and cafés cleaned up big. The Botanic Gardens Restaurant picked up a massive four awards, including the Restaurant of the Year 2017, Hall of Fame award, Contemporary Australian Restaurant – Formal – City, and Paul Baker won the SA Chef award.
