Santos Women’s Tour Race Routes Set To Challenge Cyclist From Across The Global

After a huge amount of interest in the Santos Women’s Tour Race, they’ve kicked it up a notch with four stages set to challenge the best women in cycling from all corners of the global.

When January hits, cyclists will return for a global event set to challenge top women cyclists across the world as they pedal their way to victory through the picturesque regions of Adelaide straight into the heart of the CBD.

Santos Women’s Tour race routes have been announced and are set to test the best women in cycling from all corners of the global across four challenging stages. The 2017 Santos Women’s Tour kicks off on Saturday, January 14th and ends on Tuesday, January 17th.

Ten international teams will be flying in from countries including Germany, the USA, United Kingdom, Italy, The Netherlands and New Zealand to face off our five national teams. We can all look forwards to two criteriums in the heart of Adelaide and two regional stages that will feature a gruelling mix of sprints and climbs in the Adelaide Hills and Barossa.

Saturday 14 January 2017 Stage 1: Hahndorf to Meadows 106.5 km

Sunday 15 January 2017 Stage 2: People’s Choice Classic Circuit 32.3 km

Monday 16 January Stage 3: Tanunda to Lyndoch 92.4 km

Tuesday 17 January 2017 Stage 4: Victoria Park Criterium 1 hour plus 2 laps of a 1.2 km circuit
