The beginning of the holiday season in Adelaide is signified with the multiple Christmas Pageants around our city in the lead up to December. The second thing that signifies that the Christmas season is well and truly upon us is the moment thousands of Adelaide families have been waiting for – and it’s only five days away!
Santa’s Wonderland opens at the Adelaide Showgrounds on Friday December 8th and this year, due to popular demand, runs right through until to Xmas Eve. The massively popular family Christmas experience made its Adelaide debut last year and returns bigger and better for 2017, with Candyland, Ice Wonderland, Traditional Family Christmas Land and Santa’s Wonderland to give you a Christmas you’ll never forget.
There’s amusement rides, inflatables, 3 stage shows, ice skating, tobogganing, a huge activity trail of things to make and do, and you can even ride a reindeer! A partnership with Adelaide’s other major Christmas event, the Credit Union Christmas Pageant will see a display of 10 of the floats at Santa’s Wonderland enabling visitors to get closer than ever to them – and the chance to ride on Nimble.
