SA Wines And Cider Dancing Their Way Up The East Coast

Adelaide Hill’s Sidewood Estate are dancing their way into the hearts and palates of party people on the east coast. Guests attending some of Australia’s largest music festivals this Summer will be treated to their award winning wines and cider.

Sidewood owner, Owen Inglis, has combined his passion for wine and the arts by building two multi-year partnerships with the festivals in QLD and NSW.

Sidewood Basket Press Apple Cider copyFrom 27 December – 1 January, an expected 100,000 patron event at Australia’s oldest and one of the largest music events, The Woodford Folk Festival (think WOMADelaide on a grand scale – 2000 performers over 6 days). Guests will enjoy Sidewood wines exclusively in a three year deal done with event organisers that includes sales and tasting workshops.

Further south in NSW, Lost Paradise – from the event team that run the highly successful Lost Picnics in Sydney will make its debut at Peat’s Ridge from December 30. The three day earthy eco festival with a holistic approach will host international music performers whilst featuring Sidewood wines and cider in an exclusive three year deal.

“The enjoyment we get from creating our wine and cider is a gift to be shared” said Mr Inglis.  “The opportunity to share it in a celebratory environment and introduce people to Sidewood via a festival is a relationship we’re certainly happy to instigate – that those people will then take Sidewood into their homes is a win/win situation.”
