The South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) is thrilled to announce the first round of winners of the 4th Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards, held Tuesday 27th January at The Star in Sydney. The event is dedicated to spotlighting Australian screen craft excellence, and has quickly become one of the Australian industry’s favourite annual events.
Congratulations to the first round of South Australian AACTA Award winners:
AACTA Award for Best Sound in Television – ANZAC Girls (Episode 6: Courage) Tom Heuzenroeder, Des Kenneally, Belinda Trimboli and Pete Best
AACTA Award for Best Cinematography in a Documentary – Sons and Mothers Aaron Gully and Maxx Corkindale
AACTA Award for Best Sound in a Documentary – Sons and Mothers Des Kenneally, Will Sheridan, Pete Best and Scott Illingworth
AACTA Award for Best Sound in a feature film – The Rover Des Kenneally
The 4th AACTA Awards Ceremony – AACTA’s flagship event – will be held at The Star on Thursday 29 January 2015. The Ceremony will be telecast at the primetime of 8:30pm on Network Ten.
