Rundle Street Christmas Shopping Guide

There's only just over two weeks until Christmas day, so there's not much time to cram in your Christmas shopping. If you've left it to the last minute, why not get all of your shopping done in the one place? Rundle Street, Adelaide. You should be able to tick most gifts off your list, as well as have an enjoyable and relaxing day. 

The most ideal spot to park is the U Park on Rundle Street. The costs are as low as $6 if you're planning to spend three hours in the city. Visit the U Park website to see all other parking fees.

Bauhaus is the most ideal place to pick up some unique small gifts and homewares. The colour popping jewellery could be the perfect gift for your female family members or friends. Your Mum would adore the Palas Jewellery, as it really has a sweet personal touch. Bauhaus also offer free gift wrapping, which means one less present for you to wrap! 

The cold jug of iced tea at the door will automatically entice you into T2. Not only can you purchase the most exotic flavours of tea, but they also stock a beautiful range of tea cups, pots and saucers. If you're having trouble picking a tea have a taste of their tester teas, and the iced teas are a perfect choice for an Australian Christmas. Once you've picks a tea set to go with your tea, T2 can also wrap up your purchases. 

If you are looking at buying someone something that's a bit different you should check out the three vintage shops that are located on Rundle Street. There's Clubhouse Lane Boutique, Clothes Line Saga and Red Cross Rundle.  

Owner of Clubhouse Lane Boutique, Kelly Morgan, explains that vintage has been very popular over the past two years. Kelly's store stocks on trend vintage fashions from the 60s to the early 90s eras, as well as some cute vintage knick-knacks.

Clothes Line Saga offers a range of clothing including vintage, pre-loved and Australian designers. Gemma Boyd from Clothes Line Saga believes the quality of vintage clothing is better as they have already lasted this long!

Red Cross Rundle gets majority of its stock from donations, but it is more of a boutique Red Cross compared to regular Red Cross Op Shops. A gift from Red Cross would be a gift for two as it supports the Red Cross. It's also a great place to pick up the Christmas cards. 

Rundle Street also is home to numerous fashion stores and boutiques. It would be the perfect opportunity to pick out your Chrissy day outfit, or maybe your outfit to party in the New Year. Ladies can find something super stylish from Miss Gladys Sym Choon, Alannah Hill, Sass & Bide or Tu Yu, just to name a few. And men can quickly pick up their outfit from Jack London, Saba or Calibre

After a hard day of shopping treat yourself to a coffee or snack. Cafe Brunelli is a very popular choice, as it is always buzzing, or if you're on the run Cibo is the most ideal place. 

If you haven't managed to cross everything off your gift list don't forget that Rundle Mall is only a step away.
