Hosted by Lisa McAskill, the October 25th 7pm parade was a beautiful mixture of colour, florals, flowing dresses and casual hints of colour in menswear. Stores including David Jones, Veronika Maine, Peter Shearer, Portmans, Country Road, Ted Baker, Arthur Galan, Review, Cue and Seduce paraded their take on ‘The Revival of Cool’, featuring Sporty Chic, Beautiful Boho and 60s Mod.

French Connection presented block navy blues, whites and florals with pops of yellow, while Portmans opted for bright patterns of blues and greens broken up by blocks of electric blue. Sportscraft offered a glamorous chic look featuring floral patterns and high-waisted skirts, and Arthur Galan featured black and white stripes in differing widths, as well as an eye-catching peachy pink on a jumpsuit and men’s shorts. Showies Boutique staged a beautiful finale of glittering black gowns, along with gorgeous dresses in bold reds and summery yellows.rundle5pm_25oct2013_0659_webwtmk

All of the clothing is available exclusively from Rundle Mall’s flagship retailers and boutiques, so if you’re inspired by the parade, why not head into the Mall and pick up your own pieces to style?
