Rundle Mall Begins A Weekend-Long Garden Party Today!

There will be three distinct gardens. One will have a bar, and another will have puppies!

Rundle Mall is hosting an exciting calendar of fashion, beauty and wellness events this weekend as part of a Spring Garden Party to celebrate the start of the Spring/Summer season.

Starting today and running until Sunday, September 18, spring-themed activities will be held in three pop-up gardens along Rundle Mall. Visitors will be able to enjoy styling sessions, yoga, flower arranging, wellness workshops, pop-up bars and live music.

Rundle Mall Management Authority General manager Amanda Grocock said Spring was all about rejuvenating and getting back outdoors. That might be a struggle on Saturday with the weather forecast, but we’re sure Adelaide will do their best!

Drawing inspiration from Rundle Mall’s Ruby Annivesary being celebrated this month, at the centre of these Spring Gardens, beneath the Gawler Place canopy will be a floral wonderland to feature a secret bar and beauty workshops (because they both go hand-in-hand making us fabulous).

Meanwhile, the oriental, tropical-themed Zen Garden at the Charles Street Junction will provide a perfect place to recharge with craft workshops, yoga classes and a puppy play session in conjunction with the RSPCA.

Stationery retailer Kikki K will also be hosting home organisation workshops, while lululemon athletica will present a goal-settings session.

The Spring/Summer edition of Rundle Mall’s UNFOLD Magazine will be available as well. We’re told all these events will go ahead rain, hail or shine! And it’s quite nice to think that as the season shifts, so can the focus from purely retail to some of the lifestyle aspects of our main shopping strip. It is, after all, the biggest open air mall in Australia.
