This week marks one year since Republic opened its doors in Norwood and the pub will be celebrating with a week full of fun festivities, delicious food, drinks and entertainment.

This week marks one year since Republic opened its doors in Norwood and the pub will be celebrating with a week full of fun festivities, delicious food, drinks and entertainment.

Venue Manager Nathan Lawrence says Republic’s first birthday is a huge milestone for the pub.

“We can’t believe how quickly one year has flown by!” he said.

“Republic has been involved with so many amazing events and initiatives over this past year and we are excited to see what’s next for 2015.”

Republic will kick start the celebrations tonight, hosting an exclusive cocktail party for VIP guests in the multi-award winning beer garden.

But the celebrations don’t stop there! The party will continue throughout the week, with a great line up of special events planned for everyone to enjoy.

Wednesday will the weekly tradition of ‘Pork, Cork and Fork’ will be on for all the meat lovers to enjoy some mouth-watering suckling pig.

On Thursday all local businesses, retailers and the public are welcome to come in for a drink with $12 cocktails and sixteen brands of beer and cider available on tap.

The over Friday and the weekend the Republic will host it’s first birthday bash with live acoustic music and DJ’s.
