relayRelay brings three of the most powerful, local creative teams together to investigate the design process at this debut half-day event.

To be held on May 22 2015 from 1pm at the Adelaide College of the Arts on Light Square, the forum will offer a raw and insightful picture of South Australian design at an affordable $65 ticket price.

Sharing their design experiences will be Adam Johnson, creative director of Xtra Shiny, the talented duo behind cross-disciplinary design studio Enoki, along with the creative team behind Adelaide’s cultural bible CityMag.

The forum will be an in-depth showcase of three design projects in a series of animated group discussions, with the aim of helping students, graduates, and professionals alike, understand how their industry really works.

‘I believe Relay creates the potential to support creatives and builds networks in the transition from study space to careers,’ reinforces designer and educator, Tim Saunders.

With more events on the horizon, the team behind Relay hopes to inspire the next wave of up-and-coming designers and provide them with opportunities to develop their knowledge of professional design practice and become a part of the local design community.
