Get ready Adelaide, a market with a difference is coming. And, it is perfectly timed with the craziness that is, Christmas shopping – can you say ‘nightmare’? But not this year, oh no, because this year we have gathered.
gathered. is a whole new market experience brought to us by South Aussie locals Jenna O’Dell and Susie Styler. They just also happen to be the clever ladies behind By The Oaktree and Love Cherish Adore (respectively).
This market is more than a market, it will be an event! Held in the magical setting of the Queens Theatre, the whole idea came about with the idea that South Australia’s amazingly talented designers and such could be given a platform whilst boosting our State’s economy. The market will feature purely SA labels/designers/vendors. We didn’t need an excuse to shop but if we did, we just found it!
Amongst the ridiculously talented designers will be Blush & Co., Dear Mabel, Squink, Collecte’, Lush Lighting, One Little Sparrow, Chook Shed Designs, Yellow Bird and that is literally just naming a few. The list is so long that we suggest you head here to see more.
So what is the “and such” part of this market extravaganza… Well that would be the live acoustic entertainment thanks to Kat Raynor and Dan Cameron, plus the delicious food and drink on offer from vendors including Four Seeds, The Sweet Tooth Factory, Rustic Tarts, Great Relish and wine from one of our faves, Down The Rabbit Hole (you can see all of the food/drinks vendors in the link above).
Did we mention that there is also gift wrapping, workshops, fun for the kids, cooking demonstrations (our favourite kind of demonstration) AND the whole venue will be beautifully decked out for your visual pleasure…
Plus the whole event will be working to support End Homelessness SA, a local charity devoted to improving the lives of homeless people in Adelaide and beyond.
