Held every year at Payneham Swimming Centre, Poolside is a family friendly event featuring music from young artists, a sausage sizzle and variety of games.

Bands playing will include The Frequency – a three piece rock band comprised of students from Torrens Valley Christian School – and Fusion, a five piece band who all study together at Endeavour College. Sixteen year old singer/songwriter Katie Pomery will also perform.

City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters Mayor Robert Bria said the event is unique in that it is created for young people, by young people.

“This is a fun day out run by the Council’s Youth Advisory Committee, as part of the Canvas Youth Arts Program of events for young people in the community,” Mayor Bria said.

“It’s fantastic to see our youth taking an active role in their community and contributing to the City’s vibrant calendar of events.”

Poolside will be held from 2.00pm – 6.00pm at Payneham Swimming Centre (194 OG Road, Felixstow) on Monday 26 January 2015. Entry is $2 per person.
