This coming season is all about soft bohemian looks of the 1970s. Kinky Curly Straight stylist & owner Uros Mikic has put together a collection called “Urban Queens’ which was inspired by his recent trip to New York. The soft, the elegant, the tough and the edgy fashion, lifestyle and architecture.
This collection was a Finalist in the 2015 Australian Hair Fashion Awards for South Australian Hairdresser of the Year.
Uros says “We’re going toward a season which will see women embracing soft tousled waves and styles, a somewhat deconstructed undone hair style, which brings with it the bohemian softness. The cuts are inspired by the fashion – the asymmetrical lines which result in strong cuts with soft styling. “
“Short cuts are quite androgynous, playing with masculine lines and techniques to create an element of disconnect in the cut.”
“The colours are very soft and subtle, loads of sun-kissed, free hand-painted highlights, placed to hint of the summer days floating by.”
