The Colonist is shaking things up this summer with a new summer menu, delicious brunch items, new-age pub snacks and not to mention continuing their ongoing commitment to local craft beer on tap. Oh, and did we mention their new gin and juice cocktails?!?! Pick your locally distilled gin of choice and fresh juice mix for a delicious cocktail that tastes just like summer.
If cocktails aren’t your thing, don’t worry too much, The Colonist has a massive variety of craft beers on tap, you’ll find Pirate Life Brewing, Vale Brewing, Shifty Lizard Brewing Co, Mismatch Brewing Company, and The Hills Cider Company – just to name a few! They also have an extensive wine list that includes a variety of local wines.
There have been additions to the brunch menu such as Tasmanian Smoked Salmon and Corn Fritters, Smashed Avocado and Haloumi, Baked Caprese Eggs and a Potato Rosti Stack – YUM!
Delicious pub snacks, such as Nachos have been added to their extensive menu along with hearty mains like the classic beef burger and crispy skinned pork belly roll (we’ll have one of everything, now thanks!).
You can also join The Colonist for Christmas Eve celebrations, starting with breakfast/brunch which can be enjoyed with a gin and juice cocktail or a non-alcoholic freshly squeezed juice OR if you prefer, $10 afternoon cocktails from 3pm-5pm and if you choose to kick-on, live music from 8pm will get your festive celebrations into full swing!
The Colonist are also open for New Years Eve Celebrations. So, if you’re unsure about new years eve plans, have a relaxed day at The Colonist for brunch with friends or make a reservation for a relaxed dinner before heading out for more New Years Eve Celebrations or the fireworks in the city!
