2014 marking the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare’s birth, and what better way to celebrate than with the Broadway reprise of Romeo and Juliet starring popular British actor, Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lord of the Rings) and two-time Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad.

Staged on Broadway for the first time in 36 years, this dazzling new production of Shakespeare’s most famous romance is a modern take by director David Leveaux, who brings a dynamic energy and contemporary setting to his interpretation of this eternally tragic tale of star-crossed lovers.

Filmed live from New York for the big screen, and released by Sharmill Films, Romeo and Juliet is bound to appeal both to the regular theatre-goer and those coming to Shakespeare for the very first time.

Romeo and Juliet opens 17 & 18 May 2014 exclusively at the Palace Nova Eastend cinemas and Event Cinemas Marion. Tickets are now on sale.
