If you were a child of the 80s or 90s you’d be familiar with these kickass characters, and appreciate this new art exhibition that explores the secret origins of the Ninja Turtles.

Before the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles emerged to protect New York City from crime, there were f
our ancient heroic “Kappa” turtle warriors who vowed to protect a humble village from the demonic Yokai.

We had some fun in the Glam Adelaide ofice today checking out the talent of 30 hardcore TMNT fans, as the artists were brought together from all over the world.

Check out some of the art from “The Legend of the Yokai” exhibition, including Australian artists Numskull, Anthony Lister and Rone, who are featured in the first wave of artworks. Check out the full gallery here.
