A hot, new fashion designer is set to make her mark on the Adelaide fashion scene as Paige Rowe launches tonight with its firstpaige rowe runway show. Over 1000 people are expected to see the label’s debut runway show over three days of massive back-to-back events.

Paige Rowe, who is a married mother of three boys, is no stranger to the fashion scene or to multitasking. With an Advanced Diploma in Fashion under her belt and having spent the last 20 years constructing a variety of wedding gowns and special occasion dresses, Paige has developed a unique design style that encompasses her lifestyle.

“I try to design clothes that you could sit down in all day at work, and still look appropriate at after work drinks, or be the most fabulous mum at school pick up!”

Perhaps the most distinguishable element setting her apart from other designers, however, is her ability to construct her own patterns and concepts around her size 14 figure, a method seldom utilised in the fashion industry.

“In the garment industry, the pattern making is usually done in a size 8 and graded up, but I have done it the opposite way,” Rowe said.

Her understanding of garment construction is an asset as she creates pieces to suit a range of different body types. In an industry often consumed with a ‘size 8 only’ mentality, Rowe’s collection is a breath of fresh air.

She aspires to be on point in a fashion sense but to also design clothes that look effortlessly elegant on women of all sizes. Her collection consists of 27 unique pieces, including leather footwear, stretch denim, silk and 100% superfine merino knitwear.

Her design process, which she describes as ‘organic’, is clear in her collection, with each piece following on from the one before, creating a definite flow between her designs. Her design aesthetic sees structural elements combined with soft, classic layering, exclusive prints and luxurious fabrics.

Paige has designed affordable clothing, ranging between $89-300. All her designs are made to order and take approximately 10 weeks to be shipped.

Paige Rowe’s talents will be showcased over two nights at an invite only event at the Queen’s Theatre, with an estimated 700 guests to attend. The broader public are then invited to see Paige Rowe’s collection on the runway on Friday August 7th at the Hotel Richmond from 7pm.

Beyond the three events, Paige’s collection can be viewed at her pop up shop conveniently located at Hyde Park. Or better yet, rather than simply popping in, book a free styling session with Paige Rowe and her team of stylists.

The pop up shop opens on Saturday 8th August – 28th August and will be open 7 days a week, from Monday-Friday 8am-7pm, Thursday 8am-9pm, Saturday and Sunday.

There will also be a weekend pop up store on 29th – 30th August at Texture and Hue in Angaston, Barossa Valley.
