Adelaide, listen up! How many time have you wished for a place to dance along to the classic hits from years gone by while still being able to find a chilled spot to have a conversation with your friends? Well, we have found just the place for you.

Opening on the Australia Day long weekend, then every Friday and Saturday from 10pm – 4am after that, is Adelaide’s perfect alternative to the mega clubs and expensive hipster bars. Introducing: Atomic Lounge. Located on the ground floor of Enigma Bar (near Jive), and complete with lounges and pool tables, outdoor seating and a gorgeous beer garden… it really is the place to spend your evenings/early mornings.

If you are still mourning the loss of Supermild, well then DJ Craig (arguably Adelaide’s favourite indie and retro DJ) has come to the rescue at Atomic Lounge. Playing 50s to 80s music with a few tracks outside those parameters to keep it interesting – just like the old Supermild which incidentally was just across the road – this will be the place have a boogie with super fresh rotating DJs.

So if you’re looking for a new spot to have a proper hangout and dance sesh with your friends or a solid post-hospo shift venue, then make sure you head down to the more classy side of Hindley Street and embrace the best of Adelaide’s night life.
