The ‘pin up boy’ for interior design in Australia, Neale Whitaker – Editor in Chief of Belle Magazine and judge on hit TV series, The Block – is heading to Adelaide as a guest speaker along with singing sensation Kate Ceberano, for the dynamic duo Cain Rumbelow and Markus Hamence’s (AKA Cain & Markus) event, style.soiree.
Forget everything you know about interior design events, because this will be no exhibition but rather a style extravaganza like you’ve never imagined.
Style.soiree will be an industry first, taking the form of a glamorous sit down dinner for everyone from your seasoned designer to your proud homemaker. It is an event for all who are inspired by style and interior design. The 5th of March event comes perfectly timed, as Adelaide is a veritable feast for your eyes and senses and so much of that can be brought to the ideas that style.soiree is all about.
Style is an ever-transcending idea; it has moved from fashion and art through to wine and food, and now Cain & Markus are looking to put Adelaide in the forefront of style and your home. The idea is that style is a whole life focus.
Bringing together different style ideas and passions, style.soiree will offer the chance to get intimate with Neale Whitaker, as well as winner of The Block All Stars, Amity Dry and of course the brains behind the event, Cain & Markus. As if that wasn’t enough to entice, the night will also be full of entertainment and music to get you on the dance floor. Kate Ceberano, The Silhouettes and Adelaide’s Premier Jazz Band will keep your feet moving late into the evening.
Cain & Markus intend to add the style.soiree to their list of work as they plan to make it a yearly event held in Adelaide. The multi-faceted duo already have an impressive list of talents from hair (Tempest Hair), fashion (Cain & Markus) and make up (Markus Hamence), to interior design (Louis Bond) and event styling (LB Events). The pair is well equipped to lavishly style the entire event under their company LB Events.
Markus, one half of the eccentric duo, has made it clear that he wants people to be as proud of the interior of their home as they are of the clothes that they put on everyday.
